You can choose between two different alternatives: the tasting lunch including three typical Piedmontese appetizers, a first course, and a dessert paired with a tasting of four wines, and the mini lunch alternative which includes a typical appetizer, a first course, and a dessert paired with a tasting of three wines.

The latter is the ideal choice for those who want to savor the cuisine in a lighter way, without missing out on discovering the great wines of Roero.

Lunch in the cellar costs €49.00 per person, while the mini lunch is €36.00.

Each course is expertly paired with our excellent Roero wines, for a perfect marriage that enhances both food and wine.

You will be advised on the best choice to enhance the flavor of each dish: from the fruity bouquet of Roero Arneis, to Nebbiolo d’Alba, to Barbera, up to the king of Nebbiolo-based wines and the royal representative of our land: Roero DOCG, a structured wine with a bold character and slight tannins, excellent for balancing substantial dishes with strong flavors.

In the kitchen, Maria’s expert hands prepare every single dish for you to enjoy. Each course is an icon of the region, such as vitello tonnato, where thin slices of meat are accompanied by a velvety sauce made from tuna, capers, and anchovies, and tajarin, a traditional type of fresh egg pasta with a thin and narrow shape.

To conclude, there is no shortage of hazelnut cake, soft and fragrant, prepared with the exclusive Tonda Gentile Trilobata Hazelnut produced on the farm

A visit to the production areas and discovery of the territory

To fully understand the wines served during lunch, a cellar tour is a must to discover the vinification and aging rooms, where you can taste wines directly from the barrel and visit the barrel room where the most important wines rest: Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Passito, for the time necessary to harmonize all components.

We will then talk about the Roero area and, more specifically, the hills surrounding us: soil composition, microclimates, and the most widely produced varieties. Depending on each person’s interest and knowledge, we will delve deeper or stay more general on various topics, creating the basis for a conscious tasting.

Our dinners in the cellar

We have made hospitality one of our strengths. The cozy tasting room also hosts special events, such as cellar dinners, organized throughout the year and often as a surprise!

You can therefore join us in the cellar and spend a convivial evening among friends, celebrate an important moment, or have a family evening.

Just like for lunch, the dinner menu also transforms season after season with healthy, fresh country ingredients selected from local producers.

Unlike lunch, which has a fixed cost and a set number of courses paired with the winery’s wines, each dinner is a discovery dictated by Maria’s creativity, seasonal ingredients, and the time of year.

For organizational reasons, at the moment, the cellar tour is conducted exclusively in conjunction with lunch.

What does the cellar lunch include and how much does it cost?
The classic cellar lunch includes typical Piedmontese dishes: 4 appetizers + 1 first course + dessert, water, and coffee. The cost is €48.00 including 4 wines for tasting.

What are the times and how long does it last?
The meeting with the producer is at 11 AM, followed by the cellar visit and then lunch, which concludes around 3 PM :-)

Is a visit to the cellar also included?
For organizational reasons, only the cellar lunch includes a visit to the cellar and the production areas. We will talk about the various steps that lead to the finished product, the territory, and what it means to be FIVI members.

I enjoyed the wines that accompanied the courses. Is it possible to buy your wines at the winery?
Certainly! All the wines we produce can be purchased on-site, with payment by cash, credit card, debit card, or Satispay! We also offer home delivery within a 50km radius.

Can I bring my four-legged friend with me?
Your pets are absolutely welcome, provided they are well-behaved!

Is it possible to rent the tasting room for private events?
The tasting room is well-suited for convivial moments, and it is possible to organize private or corporate events and parties.
